DIRECTOR OF TEXTILE SOURCING

 At Textile Circularity, we are reimagining the future of textiles by transforming waste into valuable resources. Our mission is to divert textile waste from landfills and create sustainable solutions that support the circular economy. As leaders in textile recycling, we are now expanding into Polyester-to-PET conversion and deepening our partnerships with global suppliers. 

 We are seeking a Director of Textile Sourcing to join our team, reporting directly to the Founder & CEO. This critical role will be responsible for sourcing and procuring polyester-based textile feedstock for our Polyester-to-PET conversion process, identifying optimal suppliers across regions, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier quality processes for long-term success. 

•  Lead the development and implementation of the global sourcing strategy for polyester-based textile feedstock, with a focus on materials ideal for Polyester-to-PET conversion.
• Establish and manage on-the-ground operations to handle and scale up polyester garment collection and processing.
• Develop a deep understanding of logistics, regulatory environments, and market dynamics specific to synthetic textile recycling.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with polyester feedstock providers, recycling partners, and sustainable fashion brands.
• Negotiate and execute agreements with key suppliers to secure a stable feedstock supply for PET conversion. 
• Explore partnerships with waste management firms and raghouses that can funnel polyester waste directly to our processing partners.
